A tireless observer and driving force of the French contemporary art scene, Jean-Max Colard is best known for his role as art writer and editor for France's largest urban culture magazine, Les Inrockuptibles. As a curator, he has programmed shows and performances for major festivals and venues, such as the Lyon Biennial, Bordeaux CAPC, Printemps de Toulouse and Belleville Biennial. He sits on the prize jury of the hottest exhibition space for young artists in Paris, the Ricard Foundation.
