“THIS BRIDGE was built by the Spanish in the 1600s to move silver to Mexico City. But it was later reconstructed by the Guggenheims, who used industrial waste to create the blocks that form the surface. The bridge was very close to the foundry and a main river. This river was blasted and is now basically a hole.”
